Doug Fieger’s Music Featured in Chris Wood Retrospective

This June 24th, on what would have been his 72nd birthday, the boutique label Hidden Masters will release Evening Blue, a deluxe, limited edition retrospective of works by the legendary musician and co-founder of Traffic, Chris Wood. Among the tracks on the 4-CD collection of classics and rarities culled from Wood’s estate will be a recording by Fieger’s first group, Sky. The song, “There In The Greenbriar,” written by Doug and which appeared first on Sky’s debut album Don’t Hold Back, features Wood on flute and was produced by Rolling Stones’ producer, Jimmy Miller.

It is a great honor to have Doug’s music included in this tribute to an artist who help shaped the music of an era that many consider the pinnacle of 60s rock and roll.
